Environment and Location

El Palmar is a small and vibrant community on the stunning Costa de la Luz, on Spains southern Atlantic coast.

Overlooked by La Breña natural park, it has beautiful beaches surrounding the Cape of Trafalgar and lighthouse, backed by cliffs, pine trees and the occasional beach bar.
El Palmar has a mild climate; the hottest period of the year is during the summer months of July and August, when the temperature rises to around 32 degrees, but in the winter you can enjoy temperatures from 18 well into the 20’s. El Palmar has around 300 days and 3200 hours of sunshine (more or less) per year.
